Nothing matters more than the little things we do not value in life, many are the times we do not pay much attention to them yet they matter a lot.
Which are the little things in life that really matter to you as a person?
On my side they are many, including but not limited to:
√A smile from a child. This softens my heart always. Children are so innocent and so are their smiles.
√A warm welcome by Thatcher when back from work, this gives you the assurance that no matter how bad your day was there's always someone you'll go back to and they'll accept you the way you are.
√That pep talk with any elderly person. You feel that despite your age difference he accepts that you too do have a say and that he doesn't look down upon you as a tabular rasa.
√Occasional surprise visit by a long lost friend or a former student. This gives you some impetus to keep doing well so that people can benefit from you. Most times they don't come empty handed. They come with lots of advice as well.
√That one friend who will never give upon you.No matter how the world views your little failings they remain the only ones who understand you to bits.
√That neighbour who will take his time to remove your clothes from the clothes line while you are away and the rain is about to fall.
√The only person who will always call you and speak to you for hours on end just to get to know how your day was! They are probably the permanent structures in your life.
√That one lady who will surprise you with a tour to any destination of your choice. As a golden rule for gentlemen, politely decline the offer unless she agrees that you tag your first lady along!
